About Us

Island Grown Farmers Cooperative (IGFC), established in 2002, is a farmer-owned cooperative serving all of Western Washington. With over 100 members, we offer USDA-inspected custom and organic meat processing for both members and non-members, tailoring our services to meet the unique specifications of each farmer. Our USDA-approved Livestock Processing Center (LPC) is located in Burlington, Washington, where we provide humane, on-site harvesting. We also operate a Mobile Slaughter Unit (MSU) and a state-of-the-art cut and wrap facilityoffering a full range of services, including retail cuts, primal processing, sausage, patties, and other value-added products.

Through our retail outlet, NW Local Meats, located in Burlington, we provide access to pasture-raised, locally sourced meats from select growers. Many of our members maintain their own sales outlets and customers, and we are committed to supporting their success.
