Farmers for Farmers
May 30, 2005: We are actively scheduling June - Sep harvest dates, and have some in-fill dates in June. Please call or email so we can book a date that works for you.
Founded in 2002 by small, independent livestock producers, Island Grown Farmers Cooperative (IGFC) was created to preserve the rich farming heritage of the San Juan Islands, and provide essential local slaughter, butchering and packaging of local meats.
Our slaughter, processing, cut & wrap facility is located in the heart of the Skagit Valley. We process beef, pork, lamb and goat to your specifications under USDA and WSDA custom exempt inspection programs. We empower farmers and ranchers to maintain control over every step of their value-add margins —from raising livestock to delivering premium local meat products to their customers and communities.
